The role of the Australian Crime Commission as outlined in its Corporate Plan is to complement and support Australian law enforcement agencies. A significant undertaking is the collective and collaborative work undertaken to prepare and distribute various publications to the general public and to the various law enforcement agencies.

ACC Annual Report

The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) Annual Report is a key accountability document produced each year for tabling in Parliament. The ACC Annual Report is prepared in accordance with section 61 of the Australian Crime Commission Act 2002 (the ACC Act). As a reflection of the national character of the ACC, section 61, among other things, requires the Chair of the ACC Board to furnish the report to the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) for transmission to the Commonwealth Minister and to the appropriate Minister of the Crown of each participating State.

The Australian Crime Commission (ACC) has released a new public awareness and crime prevention publication designed to enable the Australian public and business community to better understand the extent and impact of organised crime in Australia.

Illicit Drug Data Report

The Illicit Drug Data Report (IDDR), produced by the Australian Crime Commission (ACC), delivers information on law enforcement activity for the financial year. Specifically, the report provides statistics about drug arrests, seizures and detection by Australia's law enforcement agencies.

Australian Illicit Drug Report

The Australian Illicit Drug Report is produced by the Australian Crime Commission (ACC) with endorsement of the eight Police Commissioners in Australia and the Australasian Police Ministers' Council.

Note: All AIDR reports produced prior to the 2001-2002 report, were produced by the former Australian Bureau of Criminal Intelligence (ABCI) under the authority of its Board of Control (the eight Police Commissioners in Australia) and the Australasian Police Ministers' Council.
