Private Security Industry Special Intelligence Operation
- Are you able to provide information to the Australian Crime Commission (ACC) on organised crime groups being employed or represented in the private security industry?
- Can you help us identify any instances of criminal exploitation of the private security industry?
- Can you assist the ACC to identify vulnerabilities and help contribute to the development of legislation, policies and procedures to help make Australia’s private security industry more hostile to organised crime groups?
The ACC is seeking to work collaboratively with the Australian community and private security sector to make security services more hostile to criminal penetration and to develop strategies to reduce the impact of organised crime groups within the private security industry.
If you have any information regarding serious and organised crime threats to Australia’s private security industry, please phone the ACC on our toll free number - 1800 223 399. Your information may assist us to identify persons of interest involved in serious crime. Information can be left anonymously.
We are also calling for submissions on industry and law reform that will reduce the risk of criminal infiltration of the private security industry, particularly in relation to exploitation of entertainment and licensed premises by organised crime groups.
