The Analytical Product Disseminations Coordinator is a dynamic client servicing role with a key focus on facilitating information sharing.
The position is responsible for coordinating the distribution of analytical products to ACC clients and contributing to business improvement. The Analytical Product Dissemintions Coordinator ensures analytical intelligence products are shared in a manner which complies with all relevant legislation. This role has a strong emphasis on improving client servicing, monitoring emerging opportunties, identifying issues and risks, streamlining processes as well as managing staff.
At this level, Coordinators demonstrate excellent organisational and problem solving skills, highly effective interpersonal and supervisory skills and the ability to identify and coordinate business improvement initiatives. They use their judgement, common sense and strong negotiation skills to contribute to continuous improvement.
Key objectives of the position:
The principal accountabilities and responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the dissemination of ACC information and intelligence to external stakeholders in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures and liaise with internal and external staff as required.
- Pursue positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to assist compliance with legislation, policy and procedures and to promote the functions, services and capabilities of the ACC Analytical Product Disseminations Team.
- Guide and direct the activities of the Analytical Product Disseminations Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality and legislatively compliant dissemination services to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure efficient, legislatively compliant processes are maintained, enhanced and promoted.
- Provide advice to the Team Leader on emerging issues and risks, maintain accurate performance reporting on team outputs and identify opportunities for change and business improvements.
Key Selection Criteria:
The following are the specific Selection Criteria for the role of the Analytical Product Disseminations Coordinator:
- Demonstrated ability to acquire a sound understanding of the role and functions of the Australian Crime Commission (ACC) and the relevant areas of the Australian Crime Commission Act governing the lawful dissemination of ACC information and intelligence.
- Ability to understand and apply legislation, policy and procedures to organisational processes and to assist with preparing policies and standard operating procedures and training materials.
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills including an ability to maintain attention to detail and demonstrated experience in managing and service internal and external clients.
- Ability to contribute to strategic thinking, maximise work linkages and identify opportunities and solutions, including the ability to influence and implement change.
- Strong team skills, including the ability to supervise and coordinate as well as demonstrated experience in implementing sound workplace management practices.
